You Possess:

Intermediate SEO Specialist

We are seeking an Intermediate SEO and Internet Marketing specialist to join our team. This position involves working closely with our clients to maximize search traffic and conversions for their hospitality websites.

This individual should have a good understanding of:

  1. Developing online strategies that drive traffic and conversions.
  2. An in-depth understanding of conversion marketing and the conversion funnel.
  3. Google Analytics and its application to improving organic search rankings.
  4. Managing AdWord and Image Ad campaigns.
  5. Google’s search algorithm and how to adapt online content using white hat methodologies.
  6. Content marketing as it relates to increasing site traffic.
  7. A-B testing as it relates to optimization.

In this intermediate position we require the candidate to have a strong foundational understanding of both SEO and Internet marketing. Duties:

  • Hands-on SEO including keyword research, meta information, campaigns
  • Run technical audits on websites according to our detailed instructions
  • Discover and evaluate organic competitors
  • Identify areas for on-site improvements in content and internal linking
  • Run citation and link profile reports
  • Perform off-page tasks such as directory and citation submission
  • Ensure all solutions conform to the quality and standards of the company.
  • Stay abreast of latest trends in the industry with constant research in the SEO and SEM community; communicating these emerging trends internally and externally.
  • Reporting to the Internet marketing team lead and coordinating efforts with the client account managers.

Intermediate Web Developer

We are seeking an intermediate full-stack developer to join our team in Vancouver.

Responsibilities

  • Create, Improve and maintain coding and architecture standards.
  • Assist with Client bug report resolutions.
  • Provide technical advice to the CEO, Sales team and project managers
  • Manage code quality from Junior developers

Contract Designer

We are looking for a contract website designer to create stunning custom websites for our clients. We need an overflow designer who can take on projects and deliver on relatively tight time frames. With the right candidate, this could turn into 3-4 projects a month. The design work will not require actual coding, but and understanding of how HTML and CSS relate to design is essential. Understanding of desiging with Bootstrap is an asset.

The techincal abilites that are essential to this position include:

  • Superior understanding of UX as it applies to the hospitality industry
  • Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Understanding and experience with HTML and CSS
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English

The soft skills that are essential for this position include:

  • Ability to take conceptual briefs and translate into amazing design
  • Ability to take direction and feedback on your designs and reconfigure to satisfaction of end client
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas verbally and graphically
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget

All candidates should submit:

  • A paragraph describing their design philosophy and inspiration
  • Links to 3 of their best websites with accompanying contact information so that we may check the reference
  • A description of the process and logic for making the major design decisions on each of the websites

Our design process consists of the following:

  • Designer liases with project manager
  • Project manager provides design brief to designer and discusses design direction of project
  • Designer creates first Photoshop comp of home page
  • Project manager discusses home page design with client
  • Project manager submits changes requested by client to designer
  • Designer submits second comp to client for approval
  • If necessary a third comp may be required (this happens only in about 10% of our jobs)
  • Client signs off on home page
  • Once client signs off on home page, designer designs one sub page (depending on scope of project-for more basic sites, we do not require the remaining steps)
  • PM submits sub page to client for review
  • Client gives feedback that designer will follow
  • 2nd comp presented by PM to client
  • If necessary a third comp may be required (this happens only in about 10% of our jobs)
  • The designs must be simple to execute and extrapolate across 3 viewports (desktop, tablet and mobile)

Work will be done remotely. Preference given to those plus or minus three (3) hours of Pacific Standard Time.
