In addition to that, research done by Booking.com shows what individuals are looking for in their next trip:
35% are basing their next travel experience to trying a local delicacy.
34% want to head to an island paradise.
34% are thrill seekers wanting to visit a world famous theme park.

Other top travel activities for 2019 are:
Experience a unique cultural event
Learning new skills
Going on a road or rail journey
Visiting a remote or challenge location
