Digital Project Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate, fun and dedicated person to join our team as a Digital Project Coordinator. The Digital Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing new website projects from start tofinish, working closely with team members from the Production and Search departments, as well as clients. This person will play a key role within our team to help us stay organized and make sure we deliver on time, on budget and with quality.

The Ideal Person has

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma (preferably in marketing or communications)
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to excel under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Basic understanding of internet marketing including SEO and social media
  • Demonstrates willingness, ability and enthusiasm to learn new processes, methodologies and technologies
  • The natural ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

It Would Be an Asset to Have

  • A design background with experience using Photoshop
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Experience working in the field of internet marketing, project management or in an agency environment

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, coordinate and assist in all aspects of a website projectfrom original conception through to final implementation, effectively and efficiently relay client needs to design and development teams. Coordinator will have their own projects as well as assist with other projects with the team
  • Develop project plans/documentation and assume responsibility for project success.
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with clients and manage their expectations through effective communication (phone, email and in-person)
  • Write and edit website copy as needed
  • Manage and assist daily website updates/changes requested from established clients
  • Track and report on time spent on projects

Digital Marketing Account Coordinator

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Account Coordinator to join our team. This position involves working closely with our key clients to ensure their digital strategies meet high quality standards, their online campaigns run efficiently and their Internet marketing goals are met.

You Must Have:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma (preferably in marketing or digital media)
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing platforms like Google AdWords and Facebook Business.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop or equivalent design/image editing software
  • A desire to interact and build relationships with high-level clients
  • Strong customer service background and experience working directly with clients in an advisory role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning, leading, coordinating, and assisting in all aspects of a client’s digital marketing campaign from original conception through to final analysis
  • Working with Sales and Search Marketing teams to define the client digital goals and developing online strategies
  • Coordinating and assigning digital marketing tasks to team members making sure deadlines are met while ensuring quality standards of the company are achieved
  • Communicating with clients throughout the year to define and implement campaign goals and preferences as well as making strategic recommendations for increased online conversions

Contract Designer

We are looking for a contract website designer to create stunning custom websites for our clients. We need an overflow designer who can take on projects and deliver on relatively tight time frames. With the right candidate, this could turn into 3-4 projects a month. The design work will not require actual coding, but and understanding of how HTML and CSS relate to design is essential. Understanding of desiging with Bootstrap is an asset.

The techincal abilites that are essential to this position include:

  • Superior understanding of UX as it applies to the hospitality industry
  • Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Understanding and experience with HTML and CSS
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English

The soft skills that are essential for this position include:

  • Ability to take conceptual briefs and translate into amazing design
  • Ability to take direction and feedback on your designs and reconfigure to satisfaction of end client
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas verbally and graphically
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget

Our design process consists of the following:

  • Designer liases with project manager
  • Project manager provides design brief to designer and discusses design direction of project
  • Designer creates first Photoshop comp of home page
  • Project manager discusses home page design with client
  • Project manager submits changes requested by client to designer
  • Designer submits second comp to client for approval
  • If necessary a third comp may be required (this happens only in about 10% of our jobs)
  • Client signs off on home page
  • Once client signs off on home page, designer designs one sub page (depending on scope of project-for more basic sites, we do not require the remaining steps)
  • PM submits sub page to client for review
  • Client gives feedback that designer will follow
  • 2nd comp presented by PM to client
  • If necessary a third comp may be required (this happens only in about 10% of our jobs)
  • The designs must be simple to execute and extrapolate across 3 viewports (desktop, tablet and mobile)

Work will be done remotely. Preference given to those plus or minus three (3) hours of Pacific Standard Time.
